How Can a Literary Agent Help You: Interview

Literary Agent Michael Larsen talks about publishing in the new century and the pros and cons of self-publishing. He points out that the authors today have to write as well as promote their books using new technologies much more than earlier.
The interview touches on all topics important to authors including writing, publishing, marketing. He discusses the publishing and self-publishing and offers useful tips. The literary agent also discusses writing different genres such as non-fiction, memoirs, and biographies.
He believes finding an agent is not difficult, the challenge is to write and promote the book.

Michael Larsen is the author of the third editions of How to Write a Book Proposal and How to Get a Literary Agent. With Jay Conrad Levinson, Rick Frishman, and David Hancock, he is co-author of the second edition of Guerrilla Marketing for Writers: 100 Weapons for Selling Your Work. Mike also offers a consulting service for nonfiction writers who are not clients.
