Mos of the current medicine practices attack the symptoms as the first line of action. It is only when the symptoms persist that we see ourselves going to find out the root cause of the problem. However, if the problems are varied and seem unconnected on the surface, the piece-meal approach resembles like plugging holes in a container, as they appear. In The Adrenal Thyroid Revolution: A Proven 4-Week Program to Rescue Your Metabolism, Hormones, Mind & Mood discusses how the Adrenal System and Thyroid imbalance triggers some of the most common health problems in women including weight gain, hormonal imbalance, fatigue, and some autoimmune conditions. She says that fixing the Adrenal glans and Thyroid function can help alleviate most of these health conditions, sometimes without medication.

The Adrenal Thyroid Revolution Review
The author realized during her practice as a doctor that many of her patients came with similar group of symptoms. Symptoms that were not related to each other but quite common. She saw patients who came to her mostly with increased weight, anxiety, insomnia, and random joint pain. Over time she realized that these symptoms are a result of overactive response system. The result of overworked adrenal system and thyroid imbalance.
The author believed that fixing this problem would make most of the system go away, or make them manageable so her patients could have a healthy life. She called this problem the Survival Overdrive Syndrome or SOS. Her assessment was that stress and skewed adrenalin function flushed the body with cortisol and other hormones constantly, which also lead to insulin resistance and other hormonal problems in women.
Her solution to this was taking a multi-pronged approach. She believes that our bodies are designed to achieve an equilibrium and we just need to nudge it in the right direction. Right diet, reduced toxic intake, moderate exercise, and reducing anxiety levels can bring this system back in equilibrium and bring harmony.
She advises readers to prescribe to her 5R approach: Reboot, Reframe, Repair, Recharge, and Replenish. She tells her readers what to reduce in their diet and how to add supplements that will fush the toxins out of your body. She also shares simple techniques that will help you manage your anxiety and calm your mind. Eliminating flight or fight events and stressed environment can make a big difference in achieving this hormonal balance.
Popping pills may be needed for immediate relief, but Aviva Romm gives you a prescription that could resolve your health issues by eliminating the root cause.
