Medical insurance and ‘The Truth About The Healthcare Industry’

Do you think your Healthcare costs are skyrocketing and that there is something wrong with the whole system? Well, you are not the only one. In his new book, The Truth About the Healthcare Industry, Roy Meidinger digs deep into how the money is exchanged between the insurance companies, and medical practitioners, hospitals, and what IRS does or does not do about it.

Meidinger first realized the discrepancies in what hospitals bill and the amount that insurance companies pay when he began taking care of his parent in 1999. He specifically points out the Preferred Provider Network system where the insurance companies funnel the patients to specific hospitals and therefore specific doctors. Anyone who decides to go outside the network must pay much more.
