The Abundance Loop will tell you the same thing. But the author will also tell you how you can move into the sunny, happy sphere of life instead of wallowing in negativity.

The author begins by digging into the various definitions of ‘Happy’. Now isn’t that a fundamental question that everyone needs to ask and answer for themselves? We can, of course, go by the commercial definition of being happy and keep buying and accumulating things. Which the author points out can only provide spikes of elation, followed by the inevitable troughs.
The author sees that there are essentially two thought loops: one that of scarcity and the other of abundance. Your life progresses based on the loop you are tied in, which dictates your feelings, emotions and therefore, your state of mind. But it is up to you to choose which loop you adopt. She points out that you might think that you are melancholy by birth, but that accounts to only one half. Nearly 40 percent of what you feel is controlled by you and can be changed.
The Abundance Loop is the circle of gratitude and being who you really are. The message is – be happy with what you have, don’t measure yourself to a scale designed by someone else, and above all get rid of negative emotions, such as envy.
The author coaches the readers to spot all these negative habits and thoughts and cultivate new habits that will give them a feeling of fulfillment and abundance and help them be at peace with the world.
Money may not be the only thing that can provide you happiness. But lack of basic resources can make you anxious and put you back in the Scarcity Loop. In chapter 5, Calculate Your Resources, the author shows how to build a basic financial statement to check your financial worth. She also helps you build a Cash Flow statement to get a complete picture of your day-to-day finances. Similarly, you learn to build an Energy Flow statement that calculates the sources that add to your betterment and those that drain your energy.
Above all, the author points out that you can change someone only if they want to change. Compared to other similar books, The Abundance Loop combines advice on both monetary and spiritual abundance. It helps you question, identify, and amplify everything that brings in the positive and throw out the negative sources in your life.
